Reflecting on Two Years of Growth: How BigSEO Transformed My SEO Journey
Two years ago, I shared a post on Reddit about a major career milestone: landing a new job that increased my salary by $22,000. At that time, I had little to no technical SEO knowledge and was barely familiar with content formatting. My post shared my initial struggles and aspiration to learn.
Since then, I’ve embarked on a remarkable journey fueled by dedicated self-education and community support. Throughout this period, I have explored numerous resources provided by my employers and top-ranked agencies, but BigSEO has remained my go-to educational platform. Its comprehensive content, active community, and the richness of shared knowledge have been instrumental in my growth.
Fast forward to today, I manage a website that attracts millions of sessions each month. I’ve successfully doubled my monthly active users (MAUs), and my skills have even translated into a side hustle. In just three months, I’ve generated approximately $20 per month from this venture—an encouraging start, considering my initial beginner status.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone in the BigSEO community, especially those in the Slack channel. If you haven’t joined yet, I highly recommend it. While I acknowledge that new members asking basic questions might sometimes face some harsh feedback—an understandable response given the wealth of information available online—I can confidently say that the insights and support from this community have propelled my growth exponentially.
This journey has shown me that with resources like BigSEO and a dedicated mindset, anyone can improve their SEO skills and achieve substantial career and personal growth. To everyone still on their learning path, keep pushing forward—your progress is worth it.
Thank you all for being a part of this incredible community. Cheers to continued growth and success!
